How To Detect Bogus Fake University Degrees

More and more people are getting arrested or sued for illegally using bogus fake university degrees to land better paying jobs. Sometimes, this is done with criminal intent and at other times, the victims innocently thought that their college or university degrees were genuine. This is because many of these so called “universities and colleges” offering fake degrees have positioned themselves so well that they are thought to be authentic, especially those bogus degree mills that are offering university degrees online.

Bangladeshi, Abu Syeed Chowdury was jailed for 4 months in Singapore when he was found to have used a fake bogus University of Dahka degree to apply for a job. He was already working in Singapore for 5 years before he was found out and so had committed a serious immigration offence.

Take for instance the case of Laura Callahan, who was the deputy chief information officer in the United States Homeland Security which is a high security department, it was discovered in June 2003 that her university degree was a fake.

The Death of Civil Liberties Britain

The emergence and subsequent passing of the Bill of Right of 1689 into legislation date back to the English Civil War when parliament was fighting for the right to govern and protect itself against external interference from the monarchy. Article 9 of the Bill of Rights states that “the freedom of speech and debates or proceedings in parliament ought not to be impeached or questioned in any court or place out of Parliament”. The purpose of this article is to ensure that members of parliament are able to express themselves freely in parliament with impunity from the courts and the crown. However, despite such liberty, parliament has always observed a convention which encourages its members from making statements in parliament which are not in the public interest.

One may also argue that the good intention of the founding fathers for enacting such a novel legislation was to ensure that parliamentarians are able to perform their duties effectively and responsibly. Therefore it is fairly reasonable to suggest that the founding fathers would be very saddened if they had thought a member of parliament will one day use the privilege they had fought hard for to satisfy his gossip appetite by making silly statements in parliament which promotes the interest of tabloid newspapers . I am in fact referring to the latest incident in which an attention -seeking Liberal democrat MP (John Hemming) exposed a Premier League footballer as the celebrity who obtained a super-injunction from the court to protect his extra marital affair. This kind of behaviour by Mr Hemming seems to go beyond the realms of the purpose of parliamentary privilege. It is not in my opinion for MPs to make statements about the private life of individuals which are not in the interest of the public. I think we have to start differentiating between the public interest, and a proper definition of what that means, and stories that the media decide the public people might be interested in… Its not the same thing.” (Alistair Campbell BBC interview)

Shame fully enough, instead of accepting the fact that his attitude was out of order, he and his supporters continued to peddle the false argument that the public have every right to know about the marital life of the celebrity in question. If thats the case, then what gave the public that right?

th Century Genius Award Paper – Gene Roddenberry

The authors nomination for the 20th Century Genius Award goes to Gene Roddenberry. Mr. Roddenberrys gift to the world is a message of the human condition and the endless possibilities that the human civilization holds in their own hands. Through the guise of a simple, low budget science fiction program, Roddenberry presented on a weekly basis, morality tales using futuristic situations as analogies for current problems on Earth.(Day, D) In a time when America was under going geopolitical, social, and political turmoil, Roddenberry gave his audience hope for the future and seamless direction on how to get there today.

Measuring the cultural and social impact of a TV show or event is never easy. But there are numerous indications that Star Trek has had an influence on many peoples’ lives. This can be seen in a variety of ways, from the inclusion in mass-market dictionaries of words and phrases originally invented for the show, to the testimonials of people who claim that their career and life choices were influenced by Star Trek. .(Day, D)

The reader does not need to be a connoisseur of science fiction, nor even have an appreciation for the television series Star Trek. Regardless, the readers life has been affected directly and indirectly by Roddenberrys vision. Star Trek also attracts and excites generations of viewers about advanced science and engineering, and it’s almost the only show that depicts scientists and engineers positively, as role models. (Batchelor, 1993) A generation of youth was inspired by the vision of what if? in the worlds of technology, astronomy, physics, engineering, etcetera. This inspiration led to an explosion in technological advances from cell phones to ion drive propulsion, now in use in interplanetary probes. From the 1970s to present, it was almost as if Roddenberry gave a glimpse of future technologies and how technological advances would help to push civilization forward in pursuit of a better world. Now the dream of what if? has become reality and new technologies come easier, faster, and by some coincidence in the direction for use as played out in Roddenberrys television series.

It is always in their benefit to underproduce food where there is a famine, to underproduce coal where there is a winter. Scarcity increases the value of a product. This is a caused by a system where the few own the majority of land and productive wealth — by the system of Capitalism. But, some have tried to fight it by joining the worker’s party.
